John Bochinis started out as a drummer in local rock bands in and around New York City in 1965, singing and drumming in clubs until the 70's. In the mid 70's John started singing solo in well known NYC clubs at the time such as Al & Dick's Steak House, Catch A Rising Star, La Maganette Restaurant, & Nags Head. By 1978 John joined the Frank Terris Orchestras and worked his way up became a lead singer and frontman performing songs from the 40's and up at over 100 weddings and major corporate functions a year at all the major catering houses and hotels and restaurants in the Tri-State Area. John earned the title "The Voice" for his powerful vocal ability to hold the last notes of songs seemingly forever. John also worked with the Peter Duchin, Hamilton Powers and Bobby Larro Orchestras. By 1988 John started the group Dejour Music which became one of the major wedding bands in New York and Westchester and became one of the house bands at Antins in Westchester and The Palisadium in New Jersey until the late 90's and then john went solo. John has been called upon regularly to perform with local groups in the Tri-State area to add his many talents. His song repertoire consists of songs from the 40's to 90's with a vocal ability to interpret and convey the meaning of songs you are listening to with a wide vocal range. John also includes in some of his select shows, his good friend, internationally renowned Guitarist Maurice Sedacca together performing all your favorite POP hits from artists such as Frank Sinatra, Engelbert Humperdinck, Tony Bennett, Paul Anka, Tom Jones and many others.
