VIBRA PERU “Vibra Peru” is a fusion of rhythms created and produced by Jean Paul Straus and Veronica Görbitz in their quest to fashion, under a very personal seal, typical Peruvian music accompanied by the dedicated direction of well-known and important local musicians. Vibra Peru’s musical arrangements represent a harmonious bond of Bossa-nova, Cuban rhythm, jazz, Rumba, Flamengo and Latin music. It also captures our traditional sounds and musical instruments in a unique manner. “Vibra Peru” is not only an emotional explosion of Peruvian vibes but it also strives to make the country known from new angles. Confident of its artistic values, with music taking the lead, and dances combined with visual arts, it allows them to meld into a perfect combination that permits prestigious artists to make Peru better known within the country and abroad and thus endeavor to allow the culture of our music to grow. “Vibra Peru” hopes to make known all the charm of our country by means of this music arrangement. On this note, it is of prime importance that PROM PERU produced the interactive CD “Peru, Live the Legend” that accompanies this album. The Vive la Leyenda album contains detailed touristic information on all cities within Peru, their locations, climate, typical foods, lodgings and other assorted and valuable information. It behooves us to mention the extraordinary collaboration received from EVA AYLLON, who guided Jean Paul in his vocal interpretations for this recording and accompanies him in two duets. Also, Javier Padilla, who was in charge of the choreography arrangements in general and is a member of the Cultural movement of Colectivo Palenke, was assisted by Nadia Calmet, Karina Bazul, Alejandro Bazul, Narda Devescovi, national champion of the traditional Marinera dance and Fabricio Valera, Director of the National School of Folklore. The stage production was in charge of Pipo Gallo, prestigious director of theater productions.
