The bawdy Mae West style with it's double entendres was a vaudeville favorite that made its way to the Broadway stage in New York and the sound stages of Hollywood. This style served as an influence to later-era performers like Patsy Cline, Bette Midler, Madonna, LeAnn Rimes and Lady Gaga. Another great name among those that project this style belongs to Terri Hein, a relative newcomer to the music scene. Billy (Uncle Bill) Wright has navigated through various twists and turns of style with his musical compositions this year - first with his solo effort on the instrumental, My Virtual Memphis, followed by Mr GOP, the shouting, politically charged tune and now, Bad Girl Duds.
