The second solo album from Portland musician Lara Michell (who doubles as guitarist for highly-regarded Portland band Carmina Piranha), SOMNILOQUY is a dark, beautiful dreamscape built on themes of sleep, subconsciousness and waking. The songs are characterized by Michell's signature classically-inspired finger picking, ethereal vocals and mysterious, impressionistic lyrics.
