Red Gata was born September 20th 1992 and raised in Birmingham, Alabama better known as the Magic City. He is a major lover, follower, and listener of music. Some of his musical influences are Tupac Shukar, Nas, Jay Z and Eminem. He lets his life and previous experience lead his musical lyrics in his previous works. He believes that he is one of the better rappers in the city of Birmingham. Red Gata was raised primarily by his mother, Jibreda Jackson She gave him a stronger foundation of life. Red Gata is an acronym which stands for (R)expected (E)very (D)ay (G)ifted (A)nd (T )alented (A)rtist. Like everyone, Red Gata faced adversities in life but was able to rely on his strong family values to continue to pursue his dreams of one day becoming a major musical legend. Two of his major hobbies are playing football and rapping. He looks forward to getting a major record deal, being able to expand his fan base, and continue to better his musical aspects; hopefully be a successful musical artist.   Music Career Red Gata began rapping at the age of ten with only a computer and a ten dollar mic with no professional equipment or programs. His very first song, recorded in his bedroom, was a football anthem for a team he played on called Park West Panters. Three years later at the age of 14 he experienced being in a real studio with professional equipment as well as programs which greatly increased the sound, the feeling, and the overall quality of the song. Red Gata has became popular around Birmingham from performing at many teen clubs, internet networking and from his radio appearances. His performances range from birthday bashes to clubs, family reunions and where ever he can get his voice heard and be able to leave a mark in the hearts of listeners.
