DJNW1 is a long established artist in the dance music scene, owning his first set of decks in hi school back in 1992 it wasnt long before becoming resident at one of the biggest clubs in the south west, at the now infamous Pawlett Manor DJNW1 cut his teeth playing house music alongside some of the biggest names of the time from Way Out West to Tony de Vit. When the club closed a move to the midlands saw DJNW1 spread his musical wings, 'A desire to improve my skills led me down the turntablism route, i was a real geek about it!' Never raps biggest fan the chunky beats and ability to cut them up really appealed and kept DJNW1 entertained for many years but after the realization that the natural progression from dj'ing was production he decided to go back to college to study music technology. Gaining a grade distinction star the course gave him the tools needed to start on the journey which is music production, 'After reaching the limits of the course and a little time using trial and error i decided i needed some more tuition which is when i enrolled on an online course with point blank music school' DJNW1 plans on studying more with point blank while in the mean time his musical style is evolving and varies from dubstep to house to glitchy breaks. recently signed to new label Play Town records look out for future releases from DJNW1
