Secret Sphere were one of the bands I wanted to see at this year's Metalfest in Budapest, and although they were not too high on my not-to-miss list, I was still looking forward to them. But they they just didn't turn up in the end, for unknown reasons. Bad luck for fans, because they would have probably played several songs from this new album. After obligatory intro, suddenly there's Hammerfall and their arena hit Hearts on Fire. Wait, someone messed up the digital package or what? I wouldn't know, but the idea behind Line on Fire is the same. Just listen and grin like I did. But after this funny intermezzo things will get serious and you will be invited to good portion of quality melodic progressive power metal. These guys have lot of experience as musicians and it can be heard in every note, but it's also obvious they are still playing their music with heart. Together with good sound production and rather interesting songwriting it's enough to make me feel satisfied. Definitely an album to check out if you like this genre.
