Milana May is no stranger to overcoming obstacles to accomplish her dreams. She was raised as the daughter of a classical music teacher and a Shaman from Siberian lineage. In her teens she run away from home, from the post-Soviet conditioning and repressed social mentality to travel thousands of miles in pursuit of her American dream. When she landed in New York City she’s translated the classical upbringing into her own current inventive sound that blends different kinds of popular music with a mystical raw, ethnic, shamanic vibe. She is a producer, singer and a songwriter of all of her creations cooking straight from her music studio which is now known to Milana's large community of fans as Milana May Kitchen.
