As Stories In Trance reaches release number 25, it is Max Stealthy who takes over the quarter century mark with this fantastic track. We give you Arrinera. Poland's Max 'Stealthy' Szalko is really making an impact on the remains of the trance scene with some superb originals and remixes since his debut back in November 2011 with the stunning 'Charge EP' (SIT #14). That EP alone set the bar high for the sort of standards he was aiming for with every production and since then excellent remixes of spArk (SIT #17), Miguel Angel Castellini (SIT #18) and White Motion (SIT #22) have continued to delight with a simple yet potent theme throughout: memorable lead melodies, explosive post-break climaxes and subtle movement set against pace and power. This is trance as it should always be and Arrinera is no exception. The alternate versions of Arrinera come in three guises from two talented sources. First is spArk (Kareem Sharara) with his interpretation of things and it doesn't disappoint. Following on from his well supported remix of Airborne Angel's Desire (SIT #6) and the impressive debut original Clouds Come (SIT #17) he delivers once again here, setting the original's defining characteristics against a hugely climatic and energetic feel, leaving us with an alternative to the original that is pure uplifting trance. Bringing two further adaptations of the original are Italians Alexander One (Petrone Carmelo) and Davide Battista (Gabriele Stefanini) working under their BB Sound moniker. Having had a good first year of strong productions between them in 2011, with tracks and remixes on Colourful Recordings, Crossair Recordings and Audiodictive, they make their debut on Stories In Trance with two excellent remixes. Both the BB Sound remix and Club remix demonstrate their hugely impressive production skills, reworking the already fine original in two different ways that really bring out the strength in the basis of the melody whilst showing how imagination and talent can serve up varied interpretations on an original theme. Stories In Trance aims to uncover the most talented and imaginative new producers and team up with some of the more established names in the scene to work together in evolving the sound. This release sticks firmly to our philosophy of not only showcasing a diverse range of sounds within trance, but also offering balanced releases by seeking out those that can interpret the original in a different way.
