This debut release by Da Syk features an original mix and three remixes encompassing a variety of genres and moods. The original mix is a deep tech house composition with spaced out melodies that maintain a dark proggy core. This contemplative track works really well in a radio set just as it sets the tone in the early hours of a dj set. Ryan Luciano has cranked out two classy dance floor friendly remixes, the dark remix has all the makings of a sweaty smoky afterhours room with it's pumping groove and heady atmosphere, while capturing the essence of the original mix. The other remix has a more deep house flavour to it, but the acid house tones provide a unexpected surprise element to this stellar remix. Matt Hardinge and Navitas' Remix is a gritty and upbeat technotastic rendition of fireflies. An absolute stomper if there was any. This is a weapon of choice to raise the party to the next level.
