Neil Smallridge and Secret Self join forces on their joint release Blue Book / Popster. Each artist brings their own track: (Blue Book and Popster respectively) before complimenting these original tunes by remixing each others track. The result is a finely balanced EP panning between deep and tech house stylings. Support on this release comes from Al Bradley, Marques Wyatt, Alton Miller, Nick Maurer, Arturo Garces, Gareth Whitehead, Ian Straker, Matt Prehn and Mike Fossati. Hailing from Manchester where he holds a number of weekly DJ residencies, and a veteran of several of the citys foremost club nights (Sankeys, Funkademia etc), Neil Smallridges deep house, garage and funk grooves have taken him to ply his trade globally at the likes of Ibizas legendary Pacha. Neil has had a hand in every aspect of the music business, running huge club nights to playing at a multitude of events, festivals, club nights and parties. More recently, Neil turned his hand to music production where his music is supported by DJs the world over. Secret Self has a range of releases under his belt with releases across the globe under a number of pseudonyms. In the US, he has enjoyed success with his releases on such legendary labels as Soulfuric Recordings and deVICE under the moniker 11AM. In the UK, he has had releases on Flawless Records as Grooveman as well as Subversive Records as Rubberman.
