RECHE was formed in 2014, in Santiago (Chile), by Jorge “Koke” Aedo (lyrics and lead guitar) and Ignacio Elgueta (bass guitar). This band distinguishes itself by reinventing old, tough, coarse riffs, thus modernizing them. This gives the band its original sound. Moreover, we are introducing in the Southern Cone Region an unexplored style of metal music. Our innovative sound, combined with our own and authentic expression of the contemporary social problems (which can be appreciated in our lyrics), gives birth to a novel product, but nonetheless, familiar to the intended audience. This proximity with the audience comes from the use of elements that are proven to be of popular liking, such as the expression of a shared opinion regarding transversal problems of our society, and our musical influences, among which we can enumerate: Megadeth, Pantera, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society and Five Fingers Death Punch. These recognizable elements which are reinvented through our novel sound, plus a truly powerful and high-quality stage performance, give the audience a unique show experience.
