With Christ as our breath of life and inspiration, Spiritus brings an eclectic approach to praise music, perfectly embodied in our debut album "Echo of Your Peace." Thirteen tracks, each one a psalm, a story, a prayer, all joined together by a strong love of the Catholic pastoral, liturgical, and musical traditions. Filtered through our wide-ranging influences and experiences, "Echo of Your Peace" is a love letter to Christ, our parish community of St. Columba in San Diego, and our families. “Echo of Your Peace” includes 12 Hans Becker-penned originals: 11 psalms and a fresh take on the traditional Prayer of St. Francis, which has become the title track. The album’s closing song is an uptempo arrangement of the 1976 Andraé Crouch gospel standard “Soon and Very Soon.”
