Nixon, Blevins & Gage are all currently from Raleigh, NC and came together through a love of acoustic trio music in general and Doc Watson's style particularly. While no one can ever emulate Doc Watson, the adaptation of a wide range of songs to the style is presented in this album. This compilation of songs recorded over the years along with new additions presents a full range of the trio's range of taste as is played throughout the western NC region where both David Blevins and Larry Nixon are from.
