Echo Thug is an instrumental solo-electronic project by eclectic songwriter and musician, John Mamone. John has been active in the professional music scene since his first solo-release in 1989. John is able to play all of the essential instruments used in today's popular music. Nearly all of his solo recordings feature him playing all the instruments. His music has been licenced by MTV for the television program "TWO A DAYS," and he has recorded with producer Jack Richardson (The Guess Who, Alice Cooper), and opened up for Big Sugar, and Pete Best, the original drummer for THE BEATLES. John has also performed live with members from the bands I Mother Earth and Finger Eleven. John is focussed on recording, producing and performing on a solo basis. With "The Martian Genesis", his alias Echo Thug makes it's electronic/ambient outer-space debut.
