Alt/Indie Rock Artist Sugar Richards is wild by nature, born for adventure. She was born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia but has spent most of her life in rural northern Alberta, Canada. As an outdoor enthusiast you would find her on a dirt bike riding endless trails, camping with her girlfriends and in the winter, snowmobiling. Weather permitting, she would have her guitar. The pages in her book of life are full of rich history, tragedy and triumph.\n\tAs a child Sugar wasn't satisfied being herself. Her older sister was so much cooler, and, she felt, prettier than her. She thought if she could be just like her, she would be happy. Maybe people would accept her. The cruelty of her peers fed the unworthiness she felt.
