The Munich, Germany,born Drax had been playing guitar, accordion and piano since 1985. His creative guitar, be it in the world of Jazz, Free Improvisation or Heavy Metal, can be heard on over 20 albums. When Bernhard moved to Los Angeles in 1996, he participated in the rat race for some time before he found peace of mind in the world of public radio as producer, engineer and news director. Finally in 2000, he spent 10 days in a Munich studio to record and mix an album of his own songs. “Life Goes On And Then It’s Over!” combines the complexity of a Frank Zappa, the poetic intensity of a Leonard Cohen with the modern Rock language of bands like Cake or Drums&Tuba.
