Into Being gained some success and was added to a number of radio stations in the USA, Australia, and NZ. Little Girl from Into Being received the highest amount of votes on internet College Radio in March 2011. Following this, ‘These Walls’ and ‘Admirable Woman’ were added to their high rotation play list for the next month. ‘These Walls’ was nominated by Gold Coast’s band tag, to be on one of their compilation music cards. In 2004, Lecia graduated with a Bachelor of Popular Music with honors. It was in this time she produced and recorded her debut EP, ‘Heaven or Hell’ and released it in 2005. Brian Cadd referred to Lecia’s song ‘Fly’ from her debut EP, ‘Heaven or Hell’ as “Fabulous”... 2004“ During the time of preparation for her EP, she entered the unplugged, raw production of ‘Individual’ into Griffith Univeristy’s Out of the blue song writing competition and came first place. With a vast amount of touring experience, Lecia has performed through the USA, Dubai, London, The Netherlands, Abu Dhabi, New Zealand, Hong Kong and around Australia, either solo, where she loops bass, guitar, harmonies, beat box and sometimes ukulele, or with her band, comprising of drums, bass and keys/2nd guitar. Lecia has been a sort after session guitarist for The London Music Group, BAM Productions and a number of emerging artists, production groups and emerging film makers. In 2009, Lecia was invited to perform with Brian Cadd on his ‘Morning of The Earth tour. As a guitarist/artist, Lecia has opened for some of Australia’s biggest names including Phil Emmanuel (with Mike Beale/Andrew Baxter), Shannon Noll, Daryl Braithwaight, Mental as Anything, Killing Heidi (with Jokers Grim), The Butterfly Effect (Jokers), James Morrison (with Holly Major), Jon Stevens (INXS, Noise Works), Ray Beadle and Grinspoon (Jokers). She played at The Woodford Folk Festival in 2004/05 and 2007/2008, Woodford’s Dreaming Festival (2009 – Fred Geisha), The Quick Silver Pro (2008), A le carte in The Park (2008) and was featured at Joyfest, headlined by Ash Grunwald. As an award-winning songwriter and performer, Lecia’s original music has been featured on cable TV (Sydney), and radio stations coast-to-coast (including Triple J, ABC, Perth 92.1FM, 4ZZZ, Bay FM, Coast FM, 101FM, Planet Radio). She has also received international airplay in Asia, the Solomon Islands, New Zealand and the USA. Lecia received the coveted top ten charting position in the famous Music Oz instrumental songwriting category.
