All my songs came from my heart, & often I would cry as these songs were birthed as they filled me with so much love & gratitude, that I couldn't wait to stop crying so I could sing! These songs all came foth after I had an "awakening" or what I would call a "Kundalini awakening"- where I felt reborn..in fact it was such a dramatic experience, that someday I would love to finish my book about it & make a movie. Some of the songs are mantras (chants sung in Sanskrit)- mantras literally "free the mind" as they are repeated it takes one into a devotional heart space, that clears the mind & focuses one in a prayerful way. I received these mantras from Spiritual Teachers & come from such traditions as Buddhism, Hinduism, & the Siddha Yoga Lineage. I also have heartsongs in English that were inspired by teachings of the Ascended Masters & just my own path of healing. This album is a great compilation of my styles, as there is some reggae, some trance groove to chant & dance to, & some sweet heartsong.
