Bernhard’s new album “I Ate Chocolate And Lost 20 Pounds!” was recorded in his son’s bedroom and mixed in the den. It follows again the pattern of surreal humor as well as romantic lyricism to comment on the American experience. Musical influences range from the Progressive tones of 70ties King Crimson to newer bands like Cake; the dry vocal delivery is set to accessible melodies, raw sound and complex musical structures.
