Tobias Zaldua is an english electro pop artist. The album entitled 'Is Silver a Shiny Grey' is a lyrically heavy, synth punk-pop creation which also features Kirsty Hawkshaw on the song 'Let It Go'. Tobias Zaldua always uses the minimum of equipment like a Yamaha keyboard, one Yamaha sequencer, a Roland Module and a mixer and laptop. He began his career editing speech samples and beats onto tapes together using a JVC twin tape deck, a razor blade, sellotape and a mic and used to make tape mixes for his friend Kirsty Hawkshaw who was in the same class as him at the Rudolf Steiner school in Kings Langley. Years later Wellhead Records was founded by Kirsty who invited Tobias to release his debut album. Tobias is also an innovative film editor and has recently worked with the likes of Shane Meadows on the new Stone Roses documentary, Joe Stummer (The Future Is Unwritten) and 100's of pop videos.
