Binary Breakfast is the type of deep, rolling groover Terje is renowned for. Its bassline growls initially as melodies twinkle beneath, moving from a growl to a funk the track gathers momentum with an underlying spoken vocal taking it into the break. After a massive build the track drops with full on twisted funk, continuing to build as before. The bassline is the centrepiece, driving the track until the end. Its accompanied once again with the spoken vocal and simple but impressive melodies that produce that extra intensity needed to finish things off. Foundation X is a deeper, laidback number, laced with warm pads, delayed stabs and lush melodies. It gently rolls along with sounds drifting in and out until it drops for a long, tripped out break. The bassline has a shift but doesn't up the intensity too much as a delayed vocal weaves in and out changing key, sitting perfectly amongst the almost cinematic soundtrack.
