Kev O Driscoll AKA Check Mate makes a welcome return to Pareja Records with his follow up single to Let Me called Snares. Which again is very much aimed for the dance floor and further showcases Check Mate's unique style of Tech House. Snares is a beautifully produced slice of tough House music with a subterranean bouncy bass line, classic techno cymbals and snares and an infectious old school vocal sample. All of this combined with a raw bass line, tight percussion,rolling kick drums and old school acid sounds to cause what can only be described as chaos on a record.
