Bright Rickenbacker guitar jangle, dusty Fender amplifier overdrive and vivid storytelling combine to make an eclectic collection of indie rock ranging from alternative country to powerpop influences. The Midway Delta is a group of well traveled local San Francisco music veterans who have honed their craft in long ago closed punk clubs and the newest hipster hot spots. In 2006 they developed their sound and got their name in the basement of a lonely piano store in a nearly abandoned downtown situated at the midway point of the San Francisco Bay Delta. It was there that they wrote their first album "Morse Code Over Land Lines" but quickly after its release, they moved operations to San Francisco to take advantage of the vibrant club scene. Once settled in they played the first record to supportive audiences and worked out new songs which eventually showed up on their second album "Sending Out Tendrils". In 2012 they released their third album "Get Even" which showed a great leap forward in both songwriting and the band's ability to play to each other's strengths.
