Interpol have announced the release of their new album El Pintor (that's Spanish for "the painter"). The follow-up to to 2010's self-titled LP arrives September 9 in North America and September 8 internationally. The band recorded the LP at Electric Lady Studios and Atomic Sound in New York City with James Brown (Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters), while mixing was handled by Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails) in London.
