"Heavy Metal Lover" is a song by American recording artist Lady Gaga from her second studio album Born This Way (2011). It was written and produced by Lady Gaga herself and Fernando Garibay. Many critics have praised the song's opening lyric. Due to digital sales after the album's release, the song charted at numbers 21 and 127 in Belgium and South Korea. On February 12, 2012, Clinton Sparks released his own remix of the song. The song begins with a clapping sound, following Lady Gaga chanting "heavy metal lover" in an Auto-Tuned voice. She then follows by saying "I want your whiskey mouth all over my blonde south". According to the sheet music published on Musicnotes.com by Sony/ATV Music Publishing, It has a tempo of 116 beats per minute. It is composed on the key of F minor, with Gaga's voice spanning from Eb3 to C♯5.
