BeNeVoLeNcE is an Ambient/Experimental/Jazz/Hip-Hop producer and MC. His music is known for usually having a smooth, radiant vibe. His trademark is a dreamy/surreal mix of samples, virtual and recorded instruments, with hard hitting (and sometimes even ambient) drums. He began producing in 2008 at the age of 17. He dropped his debut album, “Save the World,” in 2011 which was a storyline-concept album consisting of his own witty lyricism accompanied by a few featured artists, backed with his own production. In the same year, during the tragedy of Japan, BeNeVoLeNcE featured in the compilation released by TheWordIsBond.com entitled “Hope for Tomorrow” which was compiled by famous “Youtubist” and music promoter, “Bob42jh.” During the Summer of 2011, BeNeVoLeNcE followed up with 2 more releases, a promotional instrumental EP entitled “Behind The Scenes” and the proceeding instrumental album entitled “Once Upon a Time.” In 2012, he dropped 2 more instrumental releases, “The Former Things…” and the video game-inspired EP entitled “Other Worlds.” As an artist, BeNeVoLeNcE feels that his music is a reflection of who he is past, present, and forever. His music reflects his inner person, his thoughts, feelings, and even memories. Personally, he feels that anyone who wants to get to know him would do best by listening to his music.
